Metaswitch CFS Softswitch Integration
| This article applies to: | Product | Version |
| Tmedia | 3.2 |
TelcoBridges Tmedia devices can be controlled via the H.248 protocol from the Metaswitch Call Feature Server (CFS) Softswitch.
The call control between the TDM networks and SIP is done on the Metaswitch CFS. The media is configured to pass on the Tmedia device.
To relay signaling from traditional TDM networks, Sigtran M2UA and IUA is used. This relays SS7 and ISDN Signaling protocols in IP messages.
Real time diagnostics are sent to the Service Assurance Server (SAS).
The Metaview server (MVS) is used to configure the CFS and can also gather SNMP traps from the Tmedia devices.
