  • The Structure version parameter is the structure version identifier. This parameter must be set to 1.
  • The Return on error parameter specifies whether TCAP should generate protocol messages (ABORT or REJECT) alarms (to take care of the local protocol errors). For example: receiving a data request (with message type other than BEGIN) for which the dialogue does not already exist, or receiving a duplicate invoke ID.
