Toolpack v2.4:Create SS7 Point Codes
To create SS7 origination and destination point codes:
1. Click "Point Codes" in the navigation panel:
2. Click "Create New Point Code" in the point code information panel:
3. Configure the new point code:
- Enter a name for the point code
- Select a type (select type-specific parameters)
- OPC
- DPC
- Mask
- Select a DPC length:
- 14 bits
- 16 bits
- 24 bits
- Enter a point code
- Click "Create" to finalize the configuration
In this example, a Destination Point Code (DPC) was created.
4. Verify that the "MTP3PointCode was successfully created" message appears:
