The Backup Point Code is an alternate SP (Signaling Point) where to send the SCCP Messsage.

  • SCCP Route Backup Point Code
    • Only SCCP message with RI=GT are eligible to backup routing.
  • SCCP SSN Backup Point Code
    • Only SCCP message with RI=SSN are eligible to backup routing.
