Supported operating systems

The following operating systems are supported by Toolpack:

CentOS

• CentOS 5.3 32-bit
• CentOS 5.3 64-bit

The latest version of CentOS is available at http://mirror.centos.org/centos/5/isos/.

RedHat

RedHat has the same software as CentOS. CentOS distribution for Toolpack is also applicable for RedHat systems.

Debian

• Debian 4.0 64-bit

The latest version of Debian is available at http://www.debian.org/CD/http-ftp/

Fedora Core

• Fedora Core 8 32-bit
• Fedora Core 8 64-bit

The latest version of Fedora Core is available at http://fedoraproject.org/get-fedora

Windows

• Windows Server 2003
• Windows XP 32-bit
• Windows Vista 32-bit
• Windows server 2008 32-bit

The latest version of Windows can be acquired from http://www.microsoft.com

For developers we support:

• Visual studio 1998, msvc6 packages (or win32)
  
• Visual studio 2005, msvc8 packages
• Visual studio 2008, also msvc8 packages -> requires a recompilation of the tbcaf library (and libtbxpcrecpp)

Solaris

• Solaris 10 Intel 32-bit
