Parameter: Encoding

The Encoding parameter is used to set an encoding scheme for a line interface. Values are selected from a drop-down list, and are subject to change based on the type of line interface chosen. The Encoding parameter can take on the following values:

For E1:

• HDB3
• AMI

For DS3:

• B3ZS

For T1/J1:

• B8ZS
• AMI
• AMI CLEAR

For STM1/OC3:
