General and detailed status information about the SS7 M2UA stack is accessible from the Sigtran M2UA tab of the Global Status window.


General view

In this view, general information concerning M2UA service access points (SAPs), links and peers is displayed. Status information for each item is given.

Detailed information can be displayed by clicking an active M2UA link, M2UA SAP link or M2UA peer.

M2UA SAP detailed view

In this view, the following information is given:

  • Sap configured: current configuration status of the SAP.
  • Opened
  • Rx pdu: Nb of PDUs received.
  • Tx pdu: Nb of PDUs transmitted.
  • Rx byte: Nb of bytes received.
  • Tx byte: Nb of bytes transmitted.

M2UA link detailed view

In this view, the following information is given:

  • Interface identifier: Indicates the interface id of the link.
  • Up: Indicates whether the M2UA Link is up or down.
  • Flow control: Indicates whether of not the M2UA Link is in flow-control state.
  • Remote proc outage: Indicates whether or not the M2UA Link is in remote processor outage state.
  • Rx pdu: Nb of PDUs received.
  • Tx pdu: Nb of PDUs transmitted.
  • Rx byte: Nb of bytes received.
  • Tx byte: Nb of bytes transmitted.
