The TelcoBridges™ Tdev TMP800 is an extensible multi-service application platform that meets the needs of service providers and solution developers looking to cost-effectively deploy new value-added services. The TMP800 provides capacity of up to 8 T1/E1/J1 interfaces (up to 256 universal VoIP channels). As service uptake increases, the capabilities of the 1U form factor TMP800 can be extended with expansion cards for VoIP and software license upgrades for TDM.

Whether sitting at the network edge or positioned to trial new service deployments, the TMP800 provides core media gateway functionality, including SS7 signaling, allowing it to bridge TDM and IP networks, intermediate between various wireless, TDM and IP voice codecs, and deliver hosted IP-PBX, Fax over IP, SIP trunking and other advanced services. However, the TMP800 builds on those capabilities with an advanced application platform for delivering enhanced network-wide value-added services such as unified communications, ringback tones, and prepaid & postpaid services.

Leveraging the TelcoBridges Toolpack™ development software and well-known programming languages running on an external application server, the TMP800 provides the ability to rapidly develop and deploy applications that tie together real-time communications from the network with stored external data sources to provide unique subscriber-specific services.

Features & Benefits

Powerful: The TMP800 provides an advanced application platform for delivering enhanced network-wide services such as unified communications, ring-back tones, and prepaid/postpaid services. It enables the development of applications that tie together real-time communications from the network with stored external data sources to provide unique subscriber-specific services

Field-Upgradeable: Through VoIP Plug-In modules and/or T1/E1/J1 expansion from 1 to 8 ports through software license upgrades.

Flexibility: A network-agnostic platform, the TMP800 supports multiple ‘any-to-any’ call routing as well as support for all major wireless, TDM and IP voice codecs.
