A SIP Transport Server is used to transport the traffic from the SIP stack. It comprises a local IP Interface, and port to receive the SIP call. A SIP Transport Server can be of type UDP, or TCP and the default port for SIP is 5060. To learn how to create a transport server for the FreeSbc/ProSbc, refer to Create a SIP Transport Server.
